How to Stop a Break Up Help- Marriage Relationshp Advice Help

By Lisa J. Johnson

The most commonly asked question in marriage counseling is "what do I need to do to avoid a divorce or breakup of a close relationship?" Does this sound familiar to you?

The first question we should ask is why do we want to stop a break up in the first place? Is the marriage or relationship worth saving or should you call it quits?

I'm really going to go out on a limb here and say that you must have decided to stay with your partner by the simple fact that you are still reading.

There are really only three things you need to do to save your relationship. Really, just three things you need to pay attention to, that's pretty simple right?

First, you need to take a hard look at what is causing the difficulty in your relationship. Do you argue over money, have difficulty with trust, or has someone been unfaithful?

Second, and as necessary as the first step, seek advice to find a solution for the conflict. Find help from books, counselors, cleregy, or friends, but get help now. For the problem to improve, you need to do something different.

Last, solve the problem. Don't let your relationship get into worse trouble by waiting to try and fix it! Begin moving forward with building trust once more. Trust is the most needed ingredient in any relationship.

Accurate information will help you to get a different perspective. Often, it is a lack of perspective that makes us unwilling or unable to find a solution to the conflicts that are slowly destroying our relationships.

Stop the breakup of your marraige in three steps. So what is the best advice that anyone can give you to avoid your marraige heading to divorce? Remember the three steps for avoiding breakups...identify the problem, seek information, follow through.

Don't let your relationships slip away. You have the power to make any relationship stronger and healthier than it ever was if you have the courage to change.
