Wedding Reception With A Western Theme
The first indication that the couple was having a western wedding was apparent in the invitations. The couple chose an invitation design that used a cowboy hat and a bouquet of flowers as the central focus. The lovely icons were set on top of a bale of hay that was delicately placed to the left of the attractive notes.
Every guest got a well written personal note from the couple. They made the theme of the wedding more obvious by mentioning that they were 'getting hitched' with other important particulars about the occasion. On the whole the invitation was very casual but the well designed and refined quality as a whole made it a very well balanced invitation.
The maid of honor also embraced the theme by using wonderful little fun box pendant and earring sets presented in a cowboy hat. Each box was designed as a hat that opens easily to reveal either a pendant necklace or earrings for the guests at the bridal shower. The gifts were reasonably priced according to the maid of honor who was quite proud of her show-stopping choice of bridal shower favors. These keepsakes will be enjoyed for years to come and they are a great reminder of the western wedding.
Even the way the Wine was given to the bride and groom was very different. On bridal table you could see cowboy wine holder. There was a horseshoe stuck to the bottom of the wine holder and you could see a cowboy made of the horseshoes also. The four wine glasses were placed in the cowboy's metal hands, and all of them were decorated with running horses. The legs of the cowboy were holding the wine. It was such an apt piece for a western wedding subject.
Perhaps the most breathtaking element in the western wedding was the bride's magnificent gown. This dress had a small train and was covered in delicate lace and pearls. It was in no way a ballroom gown but it emanated beauty. The bride peered from beneath a tastefully decorated cowgirl hat adorned with a light veil. She was the crowning touch to the western wedding.
